EVENT DESCRIPTIONS

FARMER'S WALK

• Each competitor must carry two Farmers Walk tubes a total of 60 feet with a(1) 180 degree turn.

• Start by gripping the bars with the tubes on the floor. The time starts at "GO".

• The time is recorded when the tubes are completely across the finish line. Competitors who cannot carry the tubes the entire 60 feet will be scored at 45 seconds.

• Each competitor gets one attempt. There is a 45-second time limit.

• No straps or gloves permitted.
 
WEIGHTS USED

   Girls Division 1 - 40 lb
   Girls Division 2 - 60 lb
   Boys Division 1 – 125 lb
   Boys Division 2 - 170 lb

 

TIRE FLIP

• Each competitor must flip an industrial tire over a distance of 50 feet.

• The time starts at "GO".

• The time is recorded when the tire is touching the finish line. Competitors who cannot flip the tire the entire 50 feet will be scored at 45 seconds.

• Each competitor gets one attempt. There is a 45-second time limit.

• TIRE USED - 300 lb Tire For All Divisions

 

KEG CARRY

• Each competitor must carry 2 Keg for a distance of 30 feet.

• The time starts at "GO". The kegs must be carried from the starting line and placed in an upright position past the finish line.

• The time is recorded when the last Keg is in an upright position across the finish line. Competitors who cannot carry the kegs will be scored at 45 seconds.

• Each competitor gets one attempt. There is a 45-second time limit for each competitor.

• The kegs used will be ½ kegs filled varying amounts of water.

WEIGHTS USED

   Girls Division 1 - 50 lb Keg
   Girls Division 2 - 75 lb Keg
   Boys Division 1 - 100 lb Keg
   Boys Division 2 - 170 lb Keg

 

SLED DRAG

Each competitor must drag the sled a total distance of 120 feet – 4 times for a distance of 30 feet in each direction. There are (3) 180 degree turns. At each turn the weight will be increased. When the sled crosses the finish line the time is recorded.

   Girls Division 1 - 45 lb/70 lb/95 lb/120 lb
   Girls Division 2 - 45 lb/80 lb/115 lb/150 lb
   Boys Division 1 - 90 lb/125 lb/160 lb/195 lb
   Boys Division 2 - 90 lb/135 lb/180 lb/225 lb

• All events are subject to change. The decisions of the Head Judge are final.

• Vulgar language is not permitted and will be grounds for disqualification.
